JetBlue Airways charges $150 for one-way trip per passenger and $300 per passenger for round trips. For JetBlue Airways unaccompanied flight photo identification is required for both persons who will drop off the child at the check-in gate and who will pick up the child at the destination point. There is an age restriction for the person who will pick up the child. He/she must be 18 years old and carry a valid ID card with him/her. He/she has to show a valid ID card to the representative of JetBlue while taking the child under his/her possession. JetBlue will firstly verify the details of the person who came to pick up the child. They will hand over the unaccompanied minor only when they are completely satisfied.

The person who will come to drop off the child needs to contact the Transportation Safety Administration to get a pass issued for him/her to come to the check-in point along with the child. JetBlue advises the parents to wait at least 30 minutes after the take-off. If there is any technical or whether related issues happen and the plane returns to the airport, he/she might be called to pick up the child.

Unlike other Airlines, JetBlue does not give options to parents to book seats for unaccompanied minors in any cabin as per their choice. By keeping in mind an additional precaution, JetBlue has decided to keep seats reserved at the backside of the aircraft.

Seats ABC in the last row of the aircraft are reserved for unaccompanied minors so that the in-flight crew can assist them easily when needed.

Since JetBlue does not have provision to make reservation of unaccompanied minors for any connecting flight whether it is domestic or international flights, parents should know all about the policy of flying minors alone with the carrier. The parents or guardian who is authorized to pick up the JetBlue Airways unaccompanied minor are advised to arrive at the destination airport not later than 30 minutes from the arrival time of the plane with a valid ID proof which is mentioned in enrollment form.
