Etihad Unveils Luxe U.S. Preclearance Lounge for Premium Comfort

Etihad Airways has unveiled its U.S. Preclearance Lounge at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport, enhancing travel convenience for U.S.-bound passengers. The premium facility, located near the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Preclearance area, offers guests a serene space to unwind after completing immigration and customs procedures.

Eligible travelers in The Residence, First, or Business Class, as well as Platinum and Emerald Etihad Guest members, can access the lounge. Passengers may also purchase entry, subject to availability. Guests can enjoy light dining, curated beverages, and the convenience of directly boarding select flights.

Etihad’s innovative approach allows passengers to complete U.S. entry formalities before departure, arriving stateside as domestic travelers. Current nonstop destinations from Abu Dhabi include New York, Chicago, Boston, and Washington D.C., with Atlanta set to join later in 2025.

By combining premium lounge service with U.S. Preclearance convenience, we’re offering an elevated journey through Abu Dhabi before they even board their flight.”

Passengers can also start their journey with a visit to Etihad’s First or Business Class Lounge in the main terminal, adding another layer of luxury to their experience. As the only Middle East hub offering U.S. Preclearance, Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport continues to set a high standard in global travel.
