Flagship Business: The customers traveling in Flagship Business offers access to enhanced amenities and services on long-haul international flights between the USA and New Zealand, Europe, Australia, Asia and South America. It is only available on select Boeing and Airbus aircrafts comprising Boeing 757, Boeing 772, Boeing 773, Boeing 788, Boeing 789, Airbus A321T, Airbus A332 and Airbus A333 with lie-flat seats. Amenities provided by American Airlines include amenity kit, premium bedding, complimentary meals with award-winning wines, free in-flight entertainment and Noise Cancelling headphones, access to Admiral Club lounges, priority check-in, priority security, priority boarding and priority baggage handling.

Business: A Business ticket gets you our highest level of service on shorter international flights between the U.S. and Bermuda, Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, Puerto Rico and select South American cities. Includes flights to / from South America on aircraft without lie-flat seats: A319, B738, B7M8. Priority privileges on the ground include check-in, security, boarding and baggage handling. Among other amenities include complimentary pillows and blankets, free in-flight entertainment, complimentary meals and wines, and wider seats with more legroom.

Premium Economy: American Airlines offer enhanced travel experience in Premium Economy on select Boeing and Airbus aircrafts including Boeing 777-200, Boeing 777-300, Boeing 787-8, Boeing 787-9 and Airbus A330-200. The customers are offered many priority privileges including baggage handling, boarding, security and check-in. Other amenities offered include wider, adjustable leather seats with extendable foot and head rests, extra legroom, free AVOD in-flight entertainment, free gourmet meals and wines, amenity kit and premium bedding.

Main Cabin Extra: The seats offered in Main Cabin Extra are spacious and start at $20. The seats, located in the Main Cabin, are offered on most flights and subject to availability. The amenities offered include free carry-on (one personal item and one carry-on bag), free in-flight entertainment, extra legroom, free snacks and drinks, and early boarding.

Main Cabin: All flights operated by American Airlines have Main Cabin. The customers are allowed to choose their seats for free when booking. They can buy a preferred seat in a more favorable location. They can also book a Main Cabin Extra seat with more benefits. Amenities offered include free carry-on, free in-flight entertainment and free snacks. 

Baggage Policy for American Airlines

As per American Airlines Baggage Policy, customers flying on Basic Economy ticket are allowed one personal item fits under the seat in front of you with dimensions not exceeding 18 x 14 x 8 inches. The customers traveling in other classes are allowed one carry-on bag with maximum dimension of 22 x 14 x 9 inches. The customers flying in First Class and Business Class are allowed free checked baggage of up to 32 kg. Those flying in other classes are allowed free checked baggage of up to 23 kg.
