Delta currently operates flights out of its nine hubs, with Atlanta being the largest. The other hubs include Los Angeles, Detroit, Boston, New York (both JFK and LaGuardia), Minneapolis-St. Paul, Salt Lake City and Seattle-Tacoma.
A fleet of 911 aircrafts comprising of Airbus, Boeing and McDonnell Douglas is being currently operated by Delta. Delta offers six (6) different cabin options to its customers. These include:
Delta One: This is Delta's premier business class product. It is offered on long haul international flights, and also transcontinental flights from New York JFK to San Francisco and Los Angeles. Delta One cabins on the Boeing 777-200ER/LR fleet have been configured in a herringbone layout, while Airbus A330 cabins are in a reverse herringbone pattern. The amenities include lie-flat seats, aisle access, amenity kit, premium bedding, complementary alcoholic beverages, meals and refreshments, folding work table, reading light, universal power ports, personal AVOD in-flight entertainment and pre-flight Sky Club access.
Delta Premium Economy: Delta has named its Premium Economy cabin as Premium Select. The cabin prominently features additional seat pitch and recline, adjustable leg rests, extra legroom and premium services.
Delta First Class: Delta offers First Class on its mainline domestic flights (except those having Delta One service), select medium haul and short haul international flights, and Delta Connection aircraft with more than 50 seats. Amenities offered include spacious and luxurious seats, free meals on flights 900 miles and longer, free alcohol, free snacks, power ports at each seat, in-flight entertainment from Delta Studio and priority boarding.
Delta Main Cabin: Delta offers Main Cabin on all aircraft with seat pitch of 30 to 33 inches and seat width of 17 to 18 inches. Amenities offered include complimentary drinks and meals on long-haul international flights, and complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and snacks on flights 250 miles or above. Meals can be purchased on other North American flights 900 miles or longer.
Delta Basic Economy: This is Delta’s basic version of Main Cabin. The customers are offered same services of Main Cabin with fewer flexibility options at a lower price. The customers are not allowed ticket changes, seat assigned at check-in only, and no upgrades.
As parts of its amenity offerings, free Wi-Fi is available on all Delta flights.
As parts of baggage allowance policy Delta allows a carry-on bag with the following maximum dimensions: (22 inches length, 14 inches width and 9 inches height). Additional carry-on items will incur a fee per piece. The maximum dimensions for checked baggage shouldn’t exceed 62 inches of total length, width and height. The maximum weight of checked baggage in First Class is 70 pounds, while for Main Cabin the checked baggage must not exceed 50 pounds.
Delta airlines offers a great flexibility to it's customers by providing a 24-hour risk free cancellation that allows passengers to hold their Delta airlines tickets at a given price and are able to cancel them withing 24 hours.
