Located 6 miles southeast of downtown Orlando, Orlando International Airport is a primary international airport, making it the busiest airport in the state and the seventh busiest airport in the United States.

Orlando International Airport is a hub for Silver Airways and an operating base for Avelo Airlines, Frontier Airlines, JetBlue, Southwest Airlines, and Spirit Airlines.

With 850 daily flights, the MCO is a momentous international entry point for the mid-Florida region. Moreover, 130 local and foreign destinations are served by the airport.

There are four airside facilities at the tri-level Orlando International Airport. You can choose either the Terminal A or Terminal B side to enter the airport. How to reach Orlando International Airport?

Take I-4 West to SR 408 (East-West Expressway), then travel east to SR 436 South. This distance from Downtown Orlando is roughly 9 miles.

Take I-4 East to SR 528 (Beach Line) and proceed east until you reach Orlando International Airport Exit 11. It will be around 20 miles from the attraction area.

Take I-95 to SR 528 (Beach Line) from Port Canaveral and travel west to Exit 11 for Orlando International Airport. The distance is about 42 miles.

Airport Parking

Most convenient:

Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport offers valet parking for $25 per day within the main terminal building. Terminal parking is $17 per day.

Affordable Parking:

The cheapest option is satellite parking, which costs $10 per day (fees included) and offers a 24-hour shuttle to the airport. If you leave the Terminal Garage within 20 minutes, parking is free.

Cellphone Area:

Turn right after entering the South Lot at 10536 Jeff Fuqua Boulevard at the South Park Place parking lot. It is always open and free for the first two hours, $4 for the next two to three hours, and $10 for the whole day. Exit Jeff Fuqua Boulevard right onto Cargo Road, then turn right onto the north exit road ramp to reach the North Lot at 5501 Cargo Road-no charges.

Airport Transportation

For $35, you'll get a taxi to downtown Orlando that takes about 25 to 30 minutes. To reach Walt Disney World, they charge around $60; to International Drive, it's $33–$39. Orlando downtown shuttle van fare is roughly $17.

Bus routes 11 and 51 of the LYNX cost $2 to downtown Orlando. The journey takes roughly 40 minutes.

The free bus service provided to visitors of Disney sites is called Disney Magical Express. Reservations are needed, plus a few limitations are applied.
