Travel Classes by Turkish Airlines

Turkish Airlines offers two travel classes to its customers – Business Class and Economy Class.

Business Class: The customers flying in Turkish Airlines’ premium business class are offered fully lie-flat seats with the flexibility of selecting any seat free of charge. The prominent features of business class seat include in-chair massage, seat control panel, adjustable and rotating food table, personal reading lamp, power socket and privacy screen. Turkish Airlines Business Class privileges include preferential check-in, extra baggage allowance and lounge access with massage service, gourmet meals and state-of-the-art entertainment options.

Economy Class: The customers can look forward to an enjoyable and comfortable journey when flying in Turkish Airlines’ Economy Class. The special Economy Class seating features include 79 cm legroom, recline of up to 15 cm, adjustable headrest, adjustable footrest, USB and Ethernet socket, and power socket. The privileges offered in Economy Class include complimentary meals, hot/cold breakfast, snacks, free in-flight entertainment with games, film and music, and amenity kit.  

Turkish Airlines Baggage Policy

It’s great to learn about Turkish Airlines baggage fee. According to the airline’s baggage policy, infants and Economy Class passengers are allowed one free hand luggage each weighing up to 8 kg and maximum dimensions of 55 x 40 x 23 cm, while Business Class passengers are allowed to carry 2 hand luggage each weighing up to 8 kg and not larger than  55 x 40 x 23 cm. In addition to the hand luggage, all passengers are also allowed to carry 1 personal item such as a laptop, camera, purse and umbrella.

Turkish Airlines’ checked baggage policy allows 15 kg for Promotional tickets, up to 30 kg for Business Class tickets, up to 20 kg for Economy Class tickets and up to 10 kg for infants when taking domestic flights within Turkey. For long-haul international flights, Turkish Airlines allows one free checked baggage allowance of up to 23 kg in Economy Class. Those traveling in Business Class are allowed two free checked baggage of up to 32 kg each.
